Celebrating for military families!
Let’s all celebrate together!
As of the pledge deadline of November 15, 2009, the pledges have skyrocketed to 4,960 kits (meaning 39,616 cards! Amazing!). The pledge page will be left open for anyone making last minute pledges.
With these pledges, KidsLink representatives at Cadence International are now talking with Chaplains at different military communities around the world to find the best places for distribution. KidsLink leaders (those who made a pledge) will receive an email in December instructing on where your groups should send your kits.
So now, get involved on the community forums, ask your questions, and get to making your kits! Have fun and please continue your prayers for military families.

Timeline
- September 1 - November 1, 2009 November 15, 2009: Group Pledges at this time are still open
- December 2009: Groups are advised where to ship kits
- January-February 2010: Groups make card kits
- February 15, 2010: Start shipping your kits to the designated locations (see www.kidslinkonline.org/locations)
- March 1, 2010: March 15, 2005: Postmark deadline for Card Kit mailing
- April 2010: Card kits are distributed at selected military installations

I have pledged cards, but I’m also wanting to approach another group I’m involved in. Is it too late? If I do this and go over my pledged amount (probably doubling it) is that ok? Would you need to allocate the ‘extra’ kits to another base?
I’m wanting to involve my scouting troop - American Heritage Girls - there’s about 45 girls in the troop. I couldn’t get it coordinated to present before Nov 15th due to them doing a fundraiser at the time.
I appreciate your info and help. I do hope we can add these!

Thank you so much for your support of the KidsLink Card Kit Project! It is not too late to make another pledge; while the official pledge deadline was November 15th, we are keeping the pledge link active so that more groups can still pledge kits. So, if your scouting troop wants to make a pledge, we would be delighted! Simply pledge as normal from the home page of this site.
