Download these steps in PDF form: KidsLink Coordinator Steps

  1. Discuss the project with your MOPS Group (or other group) and how it will impact military kids.
  2. Get a feel from your group and PLEDGE! how many Card Kits you will create.
  3. Sign up on the Community Forum and register your group on the Community Forum to communicate with other groups and Cadence on progress, ideas or questions you might have. Click “Add a Group” and fill in the details of your group. Then invite your group members to join your group.
  4. Join the Facebook KidsLink Downrange group so you can communicate with kids, soldiers, other MOPS and anyone else participating in the project.
  5. Pick a date and time where you will host an event to create Card Kits. Shipment deadline is March 15, 2010.
  6. Gather resources for making cards. See Instructions & Resources for suggestions.
  7. Have fun making cards!!
  8. Package all necessary materials (see Instructions & Resources) — check back for location and further information about where to send your packages. This information will be available Dec 2010.
  9. Pray for the families receiving these card kits and wait in anticipation for the child who receives your card kit to send his or her response card! This card will contain prayer requests so you can pray more specifically for the individual child.
