More about Pope Air Force Base:

USAF Missions at Pope AFB range from providing airlift and close air support to American armed forces, to humanitarian missions flown all over the world. Pope AFB particularly provides air transportation for the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and XVIII Airborne Corps.
